The Victoria bag is a clean-lined piece hand-woven in Iraca palm by artisans in Usiacuri, Atlantico. The whole body is worked in open cane stitch, a lattice of open diamonds in natural tone that lets light through and makes the bag far lighter than it looks. The contrast comes from the olive-green trim: it runs the full outline and draws the inverted-V handle, cut into the weave itself, with no hardware and no added straps. The silhouette is trapezoidal and structured; it stands upright on a table and does not lose its shape in storage. This is the most understated bag in the collection, the kind that works equally with daytime linen and an evening dress, and the openwork makes it especially welcome in warm weather. Because it is woven by hand, the number of diamonds and the depth of the green vary slightly between pieces.
